In March  2019, for the first time,  Basque Country organizes the International Conference on Climate Change Change the Change in the framework of its first “Climate Change Week”. For three days, from March 6 to 8, national and international specialists will meet in San Sebastian to present success stories, new business models and discuss the challenge we face as a society to the effects of climate change.  

It will be a collaborative meeting in which we will learn and share interesting and inspiring experiences that help us make the change effective.

During three days Basque Country delegates represented by Elena Moreno, Vice-Minister of Environment, Basque Country will sail the commitment to reach neutrality in cutting down fuel emissions that the region may consume by 2050. The three-day agenda also contain meetings with nrg4SD and The Climate Group networks which are Basque Country allies. Basque Government publishes a guide with 52 everyday tips to combat climate change

Ihobe, the environmental management agency of the Basque Government, has published a comprehensive guide for personal action and commitment. The guide invites Basque citizens to embrace 52 Tips to Combat Climate Change to cut greenhouse gases. The document divides these 52 tips into five effort levels, from “very easy” to “very difficult”. It also includes a table on a scale from 1 to 5 to check the impact that complying with the tip has on the environment. These 52 actions […]
