Iñaki Arriola

Graduate in Law from the University of the Basque Country, Iñaki Arriola is the Secretary General of the Basque Socialist Party-Euskadiko Ezkerra (PSE-EE) in Gipuzkoa and member of the Basque Country's Executive Committee.

Arriola was a PSE-EE councillor in Eibar between 1983 and 1993, and subsequently Mayor of that municipality for 16 years until 2009. He was a member of the Basque Parliament between 1991 and 1993, and the Basque Government’s Minister for Public Works, Transport and Housing between 2009 and 2013.
